Lens brush?

What's a good, reasonably priced, super soft lens brush that I can get for using on my Rift lens? Because of my scratching issues that I've talked about before, I'm trying super hard not to get anything on my lenses. But they still get dusty. I try to brush at them with the Oculus cloth but that doesn't work super well.

I'm not familiar with this kind of thing at all so I wouldn't know how to tell between a really good and a really crappy one. Can someone recommend one please? Preferably one that is available on Amazon.

Thank you!

im just gonna use a light cloth and brush it...like a light ...brush with soft microfiber cloth. no pressure. Don't really need a brush with thistles. It could be very dangerous if made out of like horsetail, etc.

Yeah the thing is that's really tricky to do without some handle to hold on to the thing you are brushing with. Because the Rift lens is recessed back behind the facial interface, it's super awkward to get the proper angle with a cloth and trying to brush that way.

Yes I know some brushes could be bad, but lens brushes are a thing and there must be good soft ones.

I ordered one of these from Hong Kong for the DK 2. Still use it now for the Vive. It has served me well and doesn't cause scratches. There was a long topic on these forums about it some years ago.

Hmmm. It looks nice, but ordering it from UK amazon is gonna get me quite rekt on shipping. I can't find any on US amazon that aren't apparent knockoffs though ><

I'm not sure this is the same one as what I ordered, but something similar is what you need. The brush end cleans any dust on the lens and the soft tip on the other end cleans.

How about a makeup brush ?

It's not really my thing, but at a guess maybe a blusher brush ?

I suppose the important thing is making sure it creates no static, so you don't get even more dust being attracted.

I have one of these for my DSLR, and have been using it on my DK2 without any issues.

Super soft brush and great lens cleaner.

Well I do have a VR ONE that I'll likely never use again. It has nice lenses. So anything I get I can test on it first just in case. It's lenses are pristine though, tougher than CV1 for sure.

I found this which has good reviews and is similar, but it doesn't have the cleany end, only the brushy end: http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-7072-Lens-Cleaning-System/dp/B00006JN3G/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=146174653...

It's made by Nikon so it should be legit. But yeah no cleany end.

And then I found this which has one of those thingies like up there in it:
http://www.amazon.com/Altura-Photo-Professional-Electronics-Refillable/dp/B0080JH3YE/ref=sr_1_4?ie=U...

It's also reviewed very well. It has a puffer too. I think I may go for that one. I have Amazon prime so if anything is suspicious about it I can always get it refunded no problem.

Edit: Yeah I ordered the latter. Will get it Thursday(yay Prime) and report back on how it is! Thanks for suggestions! Likes all around.

You could always go the whole hog and order some compressed air to blow on it before using the brush. Although saying that, didn't someone say in your other thread that some moisture is needed to prevent dust scratching, so maybe breath is fine as this creates moisture when you huff on the lens.
