Looking for something for both PCVR as well as standalone

I work on a boat for a portion of my time and I’d like something I can have some lighter games on to play standalone while bored in my room. However I also have a pretty beefy PC I’d like to be able to play some more intense titles on when I’m home. I’ve seen Quest 3 might work for me but I’d prefer to avoid Meta within a reasonable price gap.

This is one of many bot generated threads. They’re copies of recent Reddit posts, so some are non Quest specific. The bot edits the post after a few days to include spam, scam or intrusion threat links. Unfortunately it’s been a problem for some time.

OMG The Bioshock series would be AWESOME in VR. 

I'm a total Bioshock addict. I play through the entire series at least once per year.

There is a Bioshock mod for HL ALYX. It is pretty good. Definitely not playing the actual Bioshock game, but it is fun.

I saw some screenshots for that mod a while back and got really excited, thinking they’d done a conversion or a new Bioshovk VR was coming out! I haven’t played the mod but it’s on my list.

I can imagine hand tracking and casting plasmids! There was talk of a movie several years back too but was considered too expensive to make. I’m a Fallout VR nut but Bioshock VR would make my gaming life just about complete.
