Having problems with my oculus and iRacing. I use openxr. When im in the oculus home page in the link (big white grid looking thing with the games i play and you can look around) after a couple minutes it quits working. The game freezes. When it freezes, wherever it froze at will look fine, but when i look left or right, its like a whole bunch of shapes and patterns everywhere. Whatever is on my monitor will work fine but its froze in the oculus. I played a different game using link and it had the same problem so not sure if its openxr problem. It works fine using airlink but just very laggy. could this maybe be a bitrate problem? its set at 500 but ive moved it around and jothing works. also tested my link cable on the quest link app and it said it was good and at 4.3gbps. it freezes on both oculus and openxr when in iracing. any help is great.

Having the same problem. Tried all of the solutions I've found on the internet. I guess waiting for an update that fixes it. Good luck.

Hi Masenday I've seen many people post the same problem with link and version 76 including me. People have the problem with airlink too, so I don't think it's cable related.

Don´t waste Your money on a new cable...
I have the exact same issue and bough a new original Quest Link cable, but to no avail.
The issue has started occuring with one of the latest updates ( I'm on V77 now).
So until further notice I use Virtual Desktop.
Meta should really get their acts together and stop wrecking stuff instead of fixing them.

I've had the exact same problem since Thursday, April 24, 2025! What annoys me the most is Meta, who isn't responding to my support ticket!!! I'm in Belgium.
I've tried everything too. When I connect to the LINK, I arrive at the LINK HOME screen. At first, it works, but after a few minutes, when I turn my head quickly, I get black and white artifacts and it starts to lag.
It looks like a memory leak or something.
I had absolutely nothing in V72.
Has anyone received a response from Meta saying they're aware of the problem?

Hi masenday maybe try the Link cable in another port. Badstar25 said using a lower speed USB port worked for him with a USB-A to USB-C adapter and that worked for me too

At home, it also works great with the adapter on my standard USB-A port on the front of the tower now. Quest Link even tells me it's USB 3.0 with a speed of 2.9 MBPS in the test...
I don't understand anything anymore...

Swapped out my USB-C to USB-C cable for a USB-C to USB-A cable, figured out which of my USB-A ports is the fastest, and it appears to work now. I suspect I will not be able to push as much quality for iRacing but it works. Not sure what happened but the update seems to have neutered some of our USB-C ports.
