Metro Cross-Buy not working

I bought the game on quest and I saw that it had cross buy capabilities so I went to download it on my rift app, And it shows that I have to purchase it again. I checked my library and it’s not in there. Has anyone else had this issue?

I got it cross buy.

I ordered yesterday on the Rift store. Today I checked and I own it on the Quest store and the Rift store has "Get" and a crossed out price, meaning it's free. The way cross buy works is the games aren't added to your library automatically, you have to buy a second time, but the price should be listed as free.

Also it seems to get Metro Deluxe edition you need to go to the Quest web store, scroll down to the link to the Deluxe bundle and click it. Then select Get to upgrade from the standard edition to Deluxe for free.

Yeah, when I went to the rift store, it showed the full price instead of free. I wasn’t aware that you needed the Deluxe edition to get cross-buy to work. Thanks for this information!

It worked by clicking on the Deluxe Edition button in the app. It was free like you said, but I find it strange and even exists to begin with if it’s free. Shouldn’t the game just be the deluxe edition with the purchase?

No, I had the free option before I saw the Deluxe edition link.

SOmeone in the reviews said the game was taken down then put back up and then had cross buy, so they may have made a mistake and you connected at an unlucky time. Try fully shutting down the app and restarting, it may pick up the change.

Ok yeah worked fine for me.

Bought in the Quest store,  the Rift store changed from showing the price to showing 'Get' without needing to exit the Rift app, just left and re-opened the game's page. Didn't notice any deluxe references though.

Interestingly, doing the banking app confirmation thing... my phone recognises my face with the Quest on my forehead, half covering my eyes.
