I placed my order on May 6th and I just got my email yesterday saying that my order was processing and that it would be shipped in the next batch. I got super excited because I would probably get it before September. Then as a big surprise this morning, I got an email saying that my Rift has been shipped. I wasn't expecting it to be shipped this fast after just being changed to PROCESSING. Then even more to my surprise, I checked the tracking link and apparently the Rift was shipped yesterday and it was expected to arrive by noon today. The delivery time was passed so I'm wondering how long it is usually in transit for.
I just had to stop writing this because FedEx just came to my door and gave me my precious Rift! I was really not expecting it to have it in my hands barely 24 hours after it was processing. Today is gonna be a fun day and I hope everybody who didn't get theirs yet gets it soon!
I have been caught out with quick processing to shipping.
I was still deciding on what graphics card to get when I got my processing email on Tuesday. Realised now was the time to push the button so started seriously looking. Purchased a card on Thursday as I got my shipped email that day. I thought might be nicely timed, only to check my tracking later that evening to find my rift was already in UK and would be with me the day after ( today Friday ).
So yes my rift arrived today before 10am and Im now waiting for my graphics card to arrive which will probably be Tuesday.
