I am using my 65" Samsung SUHD 4K as my monitor. The computer bundle I purchased didn't come with a monitor (Alienware i5, 16GB, 250 SSD). I discovered that the sensor can use a 1/4" mounting screw, so I bought a 6" flexible tripod. I have it next to my Kinect, and it looks pretty cool. I'll update this post after some play time. I'll be about 8 feet from the sensor. It should work great. Oculus has about 15' of cord.
