My vision in VR mode

HWiggins1122

I might start that it could be because of my age, too old to use VR?

I excise at night before bed.  So I've noticed that when I'm laying down and open my yes to move or turn around my eyes seem to be in VR mode.  The pillows or thing in my surroundings seem to move towards me and then retract.

I got to the point that I was scared and thought about quitting!  Has anyone experienced anything like it?

Are you new to VR?

If so, that might be the reason for your experience. Your body needs time to get used to it.

Some people need more than others, but the feeling you are describing will go away.

I don't think you are to old for vr....I'm 60 and pretty happy with it.😁

Also, I know, there are people even older than me using vr.

Yeah, weird disassociative feelings after using VR are fairly common in the beginning. A lot of people say that their hands don’t feel like their own, things look weird, and other similar sensory illusions. That goes away over time, as your mind gets used to this new (virtual) reality that you’ve exposed it to.

I appreciate your response.  I'm 56 and I was wondering why I was having that side effect.  I have done 4 days of exercise with it and balance and everything is ok.

Thank you for taking the time to reassure me I'm going to be ok.  I was over here thinking I'm too old, I'll die using this gadget!

I started with vr at the same age. 😁
Just give yourself and your body/mind  a bit time and you will be fine.

This   might also help you. @007xSlayerx007  wrote a guide for people who are new to vr.
It's not your current problem, but maybe the next one you will faced with.

Have fun in vr🙂
