Netflix situation

Does anybody have any idea why Netflix would be on VR gear but not on the cv1rift. I think that's ridiculous. Any other thoughts?

Doesn't really matter imo since I just use Virtual Desktop -> Chrome then open up Netflix in there 🙂 you can even choose to have a home theater environment.

That's so strange they don't have an app. Am pretty surprised.

Thing is Netlfix in Chrome is restricted to 720p...you only get 1080p in IE, but IE stays black in VD

Virtual Desktop is a decent enough work around but I was surprised to learn the Rift CV1 doesn't have its own Netflix app yet. Hopefully that is something that arrives at some point.
