New Update 1.11.0.335615 (1.11.0.343615)

The new update brings great improvements. Especially in the "tracking".
Previously I had very big problems with the use of four sensors. I have tested my system several times and have not found any jerks or delays yet. Really: solid tracking is possible now ...  Thank you very much Oculus-Team!

Weird, since they said this update wouldn't have tracking improvements.

I'm not sure what's going on but i'm on 1.11 and yes, they said there are no tracking improvements, it's to do with multiplayer improvements.
Big PC, all the headsets, now using Quest 3

Maybe the improvements on my system are just a coincidence? Let's see what other users say. So far I have improvements in tracking. But it is only the first impression. I hope this is real!

I can tell for sure that the height bug is not fixed by this patch. I had to re-calibrate height after the patch.

Still waiting on new patch but been told it's only for server improvements but many saying there tracking seems better

Maybe their tracking issue was that someone was having trouble collecting all their tracking data on their servers.

Tracking and sensor setup is so extremely inconsistent (yes, still)...that ANY statement by someone in regards whether there are improvements or things got worse...should be taken with a grain of salt...and are likely placebo or urban myths 🙂

I am serious, most of the time what the software reports to me makes ABSOLUTELY.NO.SENSE...and I cannot trace back when, under what circumstances, things (eg. setting up sensors) work, and when not. It simply doesn't make any sense.

Just today because I had jitter I re-run sensor setup and for an hour or so, even after multiple reboots and whatnot I couldn't get it through the screen (at the location in setup where you put the trigger and wait for it to see the sensor). Then another reboot with the exact same setup..and suddenly it worked.

I simply don't understand why under some circumstance you press the trigger endlessly....even restart Oculus services, reboot, unplug USB etc...and it DOES.NOT.WORK ("make sure sensors see your touch controllers")..blahblah.....and then 10 minutes later the same thing works, means it sees the sensor at the first click.

This is why I say "inconsistent", the entire thing doesn't make any sense. I thought that the latest update improved things in this regards, but was too early there. It's like a lottery when it finally can complete setup.

It`s my fault! No improvements. But I hoped so much... 😞

Actually the last two days my tracking is HORRIBLE. I have never had so many problems like the recent days. Like right hand intermittently losing tracking, then shifting/swimming away etc... really bad right now.

In all VR social apps I am I look like an idiot because I constantly wave around my arms to test whether tracking still works.
