I bought the first one - and in that picture it looked like it would fit well too... sadly the reality was a poor fit and I could have made something better myself with my own less than impressive sowing skills.

It looks the same to me, only a different colour and no nose part.

Im with Techy111 on this - I like the idea of these things, but wont buy anything from this same company again until such time as I see positive reviews from unbiased trustworthy sources.

Originals crap, even after getting good reviews. I have mine stuck on with double sided sticky gel pads. Very much doubt I'll be getting this one unless it's a VAST improvement over the original.

Would love to know who the people are that got this one free as they had fed back that the first one wasn't up to task.  Certainly wasn't me and they are very aware of my displeasure with their original product.  Won't be buying from them again, especially at nineteen bucks... for a bit of fabric and elastic!

I found the trick with the first one is to tuck the edge under the metal loop on the top front that holds the velcro strap that runs down the middle of your head. Also a few good sweaty sessions will kind of mold it to the shape. I agree its not the best solution, but that foam gets itchy as hell after awhile.  (Went ahead and ordered v2 anyway) Btw, any news on different shaped foam inserts for Rift? My wife has an itty bitty nose and you'd have to cram a towel up there to block the light.

I ordered the "next gen" ones, too - which should be arriving in a month, with the replacement faceplates.

A new problem I'm having with the current VRCovers (which I have fixed with double-sided tape) is micro-fibres from the material getting into my eyes. This is happening repeatedly now and spoils my otherwise excellent VR flight simming experience.
