Hey there, 🙂

Just wondering if anyone has tried running the oculus on an 860M (or similar) gaming laptop? what kind of games could you run and on what settings?

(let me know especially if you have tried Elite dangerous)

If the benchmarks are accurate, I'd say you have no chance with that Mobile GPU.

A score of 6000 is where VR usage becomes possible in modern games, 8000 for a judder free experience.

Have a look at this topic to see what experience you'll have with a GPU with a score of ~1500 viewtopic.php?f=26&t=20115

Thanks for the reply... I wasnt so sure that why I asked... I mean my gpu can kickout a good stereoscopic 3D gaming experience on on my 56inch 3D TV So I assumed it should be able to run it on oculus... then again I am not very sure what the oculus needs thats why I asked if anyone has tried it on the 860M 🙂

I hope someone who owns the 860M can confirm, the good ol ball and chain would kill me if I buy a more powerful laptop or desktop so soon 😛
