Anny good news for us in 2018? 🙂 I need this app for real. I have 3 sensors in a room and 1 in another room where my racerig is. I cant find a way to disable camera's on the fly and because i have to use different ports with 4 sensors its kinda hard to put them on a hub with switch.
elboffor, did you think about open-sourcing the tool? Even if it's messy and without comments. There are other devs here, maybe we can contribute some work 😉 I think this kind of tool is very important, especially if you let your friends play on your Rift from time to time for example. Would be cool if you could put it on GitHub or something similar. If you need any help with that just let me know!
To be honest I was looking for the source to it the other month as i was goin going to update it. But I believe it fell victim to a format. It isn't difficult to do, it was the first windows app I made and did so from scratch, so wouldn't take much for any of us to make. Now a save game switching/cloud backup tool would be much more usefully I believe , If I ever get time away from RL then I may well make one.
This is my forum signature. There are many others like it, but this is mine.
This tool sounds like what I need. Room-scale with 3 sensors in one room, and a single sensor for seated experiences in another room. Hoping it still works. Either way, thanks for making it, and giving it to the community 🙂
