About time! Now I'm hoping they might release longer versions of the cables for those that have a bigger play space! 🙂

ooh, well that's good finally.  I don't need anything 'yet' but really glad for those who broke a cable or something and do.

Still can't buy them through Amazon.

Oh well.

Ouch, £59 for a replacement cable.  Better look after mine.

Not really sure how it can convert from $49 USD to £59, hopefully just a mistake.

It's because the USD prices are without  VAT, while £prices do include taxes and handling fees.
This is why the CV was 599$ on the site if you ordered from the US and was 700 Euro when ordered from Ireland.

This is brilliant news - I've been really worried about the cable so great we can now buy replacements. Good stuff Oculus

Glad to see as mine although working fine atm since using rooms scale it's looking a bit twisted and a future fail for sure

Indeed, that's like the one thing I was hoping to find in there.

That is true, but the cable is £59 GBP not Euros.  If the HMD is $599 in USD and £549 in GBP you would expect the cable to be around £45 GBP (from $49).

On a brighter note, I am extremely pleased that they have finally released the accessories store.  It sure would suck to break a cable and be stuck with a £550 paper weight.
