Oculus Home, Game store demo's needed

We've all be saying for many years now that you can't explain VR to someone. They have to see it for themselves.

Surely this must go for VR games too?
Where are the VR demo's for VR games on the Oculus store?

Sure I can find and watch 2D trailers but they don't give any indication of what they'll actually be like in VR.

I'm not saying I want playable demo's, although that would be perfect.
Anything that will give a sense of object/character scale would be good.
A still scene with a panable camera maybe?

I like the look of Chronos but in a 2D trailer it just looks like any other 3rd person adventure. How big is the character? Life size in life sized surrounding? or like Lucky's tale where you feel like you're playing with a small radio controlled toy?

What do you guys think?

I think you are totally right u.u
We really need demos, playable or not, but we need them.

Also there are a lot of stuff they can put in the home.

-A forum/chat, just to start
-a news section (even if we all will be happy with just some news somewere... >_>)
-I would avoid the early access thing for now, there is soo much crap on greenlight right now and that mess it too huge for the VR community right now
-a separate folder for the installed games (that way we don't have to delete them if we have to delete oculus home for some reason)

a lot of stuff 🙂

Dream deck is good example. A bunch of short experiences of varying types is really nice for an introduction to VR. There is a lot there to show a new person.

My 14yr old Daughter loved dream deck. Almost fell over backwards trying to avoid the dinosaur.
She really loved Lucky's tail and almost cried during Henry because the connection to the character is so much more real in VR

So the content that is there is great....................but more is always good for sure!!
Small VR experiences are going to be in demand

Side question. Lets say you were to buy a nice VR experience (or small pack of)  what would you pay. $5, $10 ??

Cheers

Wasn't something that was suppose to already be implemented? I specifically saw a video (Tested interviewing Nate, or Palmer) in which they said demos would a part of the Home experience.

That is a great Idea ... a bit like a 3D trailer at IMAX ... you can at least sample the experience for those 2 minutes.
Core i7-7700k @ 4.9 Ghz | 32 GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance @ 3000Mhz | 2x 1TB Samsung Evo | 2x 4GB WD Black
ASUS MAXIMUS IX HERO | MSI AERO GTX 1080 OC @ 2000Mhz | Corsair Carbide Series 400C White (RGB FTW!)

Be kind to one another 🙂

ithink 5$ can be a good price, but i want a lot more than what is in the  dream deck right now 🙂  (talking about quantity, the quality is already awesome)
