Oculus Payment charged - too late to cancel?

I'm just gonna say I messed up huge in that I forgot about my pre-order entirely since it got delayed back in February until June or so. I meant to cancel but over time it had slipped my mind entirely.

Anyway, I woke up today to see the charge and a notification that my order is being processed. There is no way I can afford this charge right now, so I'm desperate to try and cancel the order. Is it at all possible at this stage? I've sent a ticket of course, and I'm waiting on a response, but i'm worried the item might ship before then.

If there is anyone around who has the ability to notift support for a bit of expedition on my ticket then that could be a life saver, it might be impossible but I'll drop my ticket number anyway: #204636

I don't know if anyone has experience with trying to cancel at this stage before or if I'm the first idiot to, but if there is it'd be helpful to hear your experiences, thanks.

The only person that may be able to help is @cybereality but I think the chances are slim.

hi @bobo343, Cyber's on a well earned break this week, so probably won't be checking the forum. Not sure if other Staff members monitor the forum regularly.. you've opened a ticket so that may be your best bet at the moment

Just pass it on to another eagerly awaiting buyer.  Im sure there are many out there that will reimburse you once you receive it and post it to them.. There are lots of people with delayed orders!!

There are people who are happy that their order has been processed, and there are others 🙂

Thanks for the input guys, guess I'll just wait and see what support have to say. Checking ebay the resale prices are quite ludicrous, so I think I'll be able to find a buyer relatively quickly if I list it just for the price I paid to purely reimburse myself, if it comes to not being able to have it canceled in time.
