Oculus Store improvement.

Hey Oculus team,

Just a few suggestion here, I would've grabbed the Summer Bundle but no way will I accept paying for 3 titles out of 4 (1 I already own) and not get discounted for the title I already have, plus, should I expect to receive a gifted copy if I did? Not that I would care but yeah, that might be an incentive for some to go ahead and buy despite getting cheated out of a deal.

Also, you guys barely have any sales most of the time and now, wham bam thank you ma'am, 100 titles on sale... I fail to understand why you guys go all out on a few days sale and have such dry offerings on any other day. I wish Oculus would give me a solid weekly or bi-weekly rotation catalog to choose from that is on sale, and make it obvious instead of dishing out what feels like every single title for a few days and then nothing until the next big sale.

I have over 500 titles on Steam and have easily never booted half of it, about 75 on PS4 and same goes, haven't booted half of them, heck I haven't even downloaded them. I may be a sucker for digital collections but I buy on-sale and if it wasn't for how Sony literally copy/paste Steam's concept with PSN Store, no way would I have that many titles, I just buy classics or titles I feel like I might play sometime because they always seem to have sales now and I always want to check and always seem to find 3-4 things I'd like to add...

Not doing much of that here simply because I won't spend the equivalent of 6 months worth of purchases within a week, but give me a reason to buy for the last/next 6 months? I would've easily tripled my Oculus games library and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Just my two cents and hopefully something for the Oculus team to think about.

Cheers, wish you guys and developers a good sale!

Absolutely agree, WhyKlef! I have the same thing going on in Steam; although only about 50 to 70 titles I have not played. But I am a sucker for a sale as well. I didn't even know Oculus ran sales until this week when it was posted here on the forum. A few titles every week would be better than this "all in" approach and give me far more incentive to check the store every so often.

I agree.  There is no incentive when I have already paid for 1 game and its part of the bundle.

I bought one bundle on a previous sale.  I don't see myself buying another bundle unless we can chose some titles because they've all had at least 1 title I already bought in every bundle that's been offered since.

I also buy games on sale, the last Non-vr game I bought was from Steam, it was the latest transformers G1 game, it was on sale from $50 down to $10.  That is a game that I bought over 4 months ago and I have not yet installed it to play.  To be fair, I only bought it for 2 reasons, number 1 it was Generation 1 transformers, and number 2 it was 90% off and the sale was ending soon.  So I got this ridiculous notion in my head.... "The sale is almost over.... Well.... I don't want to lose money on this deal, I better get this now."  And it's sits uninstalled all this time later, I have no desire to install it because I don't want to have to hook up my xbox controller again, I already put it up."

Are these the prices of the games you guys are buying and not installing also?  90% off of their original price?

Alot of games on Oculus home are inexpensive in the first place, but some are at that breaking point.  I want to try Giant Cop, but it's not on sale, I'm not paying $25 for it so I'll just have to see if it eventually shows up on a deal of the day.

Maybe they'll actually give us a refund policy since it looks like they've done that for the UK users (Probably some sort of law forced them)
