Just found out that I can not pay to get my Oculus repaired. I am seriously feeling robbed. I bought all those games and then bought the touch and was just about to by two more sensors for full room immersion. Then my oculus goes out. Now if I choose to stay in the VR community if I would have to buy another VR headset. Looks like I will be buying a HTC Vive...since at the very least I can get it repaired if something were to go wrong.
Does anyone on here know who repairs Oculus'?

@RedRizla I don't live in the UK though, I'm guessing those are extended store warranties instead of actual manufacturer warranties. I hardly ever see Samsung around here give more then 2 or 3 years unless you purchase one of their High end expensive televisions.
@juniormafia27 While not being able to repair it might suck and is hardly ideal, it is not mandatory for companies to have a repair department. That companies like Samsung, Phillips, Sony, Pioneer etc have them is generally due to the fact that they are big enough to do so. Oculus is hardly that big.

I‘d like to add that my interaction with support was extremely frustrating and disconcerting. I was respectful and complied with the requests made by Oculus support.
After being asked to perform redundant tasks and being told that registry corruption was the causing my rift’s black screen for the Nth time, I gave up.
As of today my rift headset sits in a closet, inoperative. The issue was never resolved and now my headset is out of warranty.
I no longer reccomend the Oculus Rift like I used to after this experience and will never purchase a product from them again.
I am done with these guys too.

Buy a new Rift - £399 - couple of hundred cheaper than a Vive and you have plenty of spares.
1 or 2 year warranty, by then they should be selling just the headset. Also, in 18 months we'll be on to the second generation anyway and you can sell not 1 but 2 Rifts if you want to move up to Rift 2.
Even if you have been screwed over by poor after sales service (yes, it is poor not selling just the HMD), it's cheaper to buy a Rift rather than a Vive.
