This is interesting - it was pointed out to me by one of our Chinese clients that all the early VR Arena-Scale VR platforms had been prototyped with DK2's. But when they asked me what were being done with CV1's I had to explain to them none!
How bad of a missed opportunity will this be for the company?
Unfortunately CV1 requires the 1.x runtimes, which I would assume are really not suited to this kind of system (forced updates, login accounts, etc, don't go well with these out of home attractions). I wouldn't be surprised if all these things are running on 0.8 (if Oculus aren't directly involved and gave them custom runtimes).
The previous was an older (2015) example image - but the new systems are running at spec, and above. No its just the same old reason OVR is not in out-of-home entertainment.
