I wonder how many of you caused any damage at home using rift/touch.
Just in last 2 days I nearly broke my soffit lamp and i scratched the wall corner playing Dead and Buried (controller has got a nice scratch as well...)
At leased my Mrs was laughing instead of being grumpy about it.... If your Mrs is grumpy show them Nvidia VR funhouse with piercing balloons and flame arrows 😉
Ive punched my window. Luckily did not break it. A few friends and I have hit the dome surrounding the ceiling light which has also stood against the hits. Ive a few marks on my touch. Makes me sad...
I've got low ceilings in my vr mancave and have learned the hard way to kneel down when throwing grenades or anything for that matter. Got a sweet grind mark on the front of each touch controller before I learned my lesson.
Who cares about the house?? I punched my left controller into my closet door and now it has white paint on it that I can't get off. My beautiful Rift controller has been blemished... 😞
Did the same here. Use those mini alcohol wipes and it'll come off very easily. I got tons of those from eBay to wipe down the goggles when there's many people wanting to try it out.
Only the ceiling a little bit. Guardian keeps me safe and my playspace is not too small (3 on 3 meters apx). The ceiling is low and I'm big (1.90m) and sometimes I touched it but not really smashed.

Hahaha, my fiancee actually managed to do kind of same thing. First day I get the Touch she tried Super Hot and one of the first levels where there is melee enemies. She panicked when the enemies came too close so she did what any rational lady would do when assaulted by weird red chrystaline assailants, she bursted onward wailing her hands and ran head and Touch first to the wall.
The controllers scraped the white wall and got paint on them. She managed to remove the paint with some nail polish remover, but that removed also the nice matt surface on the Touch. 😕
