Oculus video will not start

Enda
Protege
When I click on the video ap in Oculus home, nothing happens.
I have tried uninstalling and re installing but still nothing happens.   It worked fine a while back when I was using my DK2. But that was a few months ago, since then I have been using the Vive.  I bought a CV1 this week and the video will not launch.
Everything else works OK, with this one exception.
Anyone else experience this, or have a suggestion how it could be resolved?

Thanks.

I managed to fix it.  So for anyone else with a similar problem here is how I did it.
I went into the video folder oculus-video-oculus and clicked on cinema, I was then it was Unable to load DLL 'Mfplat.dll'.   So I went to the Microsoft site and downloaded this https://steamcommunity.com/linkfilter/?url=https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=49919
Installed it, then restarted windows and finally Oculus video worked.

I had something similar happen.  Try reinstalling Visual C++ Redistributables
here
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555
here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=3387
and here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29

(I didnt need to reinstall 2013)

Hope that fixes it.

So with me, I click on video and there is a flash as if it going to start but then immediately goes back, as If I never clicked on it in the first place (this happens in split second). is that the same as what happened to you?
