Just came across this, which I think may help hugely for those of us who have to wear glasses when using the

Rift.: https://www.nooz-optics.com/en/nooz-reading-glasses/1-reading-glasses-midnight-black.html

Or you could put in contacts when your Rifting? :pensive:

Unlikely.  They're reading glasses.  Unless you're so extremely farsighted that you can't focus 3-4 feet away.  For anyone nearsighted they'd be worse than useless.

I wear contact lenses myself, but I do know some people who cant wear them so have no option but to wear glasses.

Why cant they just make prescription VR lenses that fit well and are easily swapped out. People could then just pop in the lenses they purchased additionally so that they can see in focus without glasses. Or better yet, build in a method of adjusting the focus per eye in future evolutions of the hardware.

Why stop there too - also make a prescription windscreen for your car so that you can drive without your glasses.

I'm very slightly nearsighted and find that an old pair of 1.5 reading glasses makes all the difference to me when using the rift so I think I'll give them a try!!!

I can't wear contacts due to my particular sight issues. I thought that this was a neat solution since they offer lenses made to my prescription.

You guys know about "VR Lens" don't you? You have several threads here talking about them. Just be warmed some users reports a problem to keep then without moving/falling. Read all thread before doing the jump. I'm waiting myself to see if this company (the same making the VR cover) provide a suitable solution for us Rift users.
