Official DK2 Shipping Update (Aug 8th 2014)

Hey everyone,

By the end of this week, we'll have shipped over 16,000 DK2s worldwide.

To those still waiting for your kits to arrive, thank you for your continued patience. We’re doing what we can to get your DK2 to you as quickly as possible.

To those who have already received their kits, we hope you’re enjoying experimenting, building, and creating new VR experiences. A special thank you for everyone’s help testing the latest SDK. We know it’s still rough around the edges, and we’re squashing bugs as quickly as we can. Watch for an update to the SDK in the near future.

Thank you. Somebody gets it. They're not shipping them one at a time, people. They're taking X amount of orders per region, and filling them. It's relatively chronological...but if the choice comes between jumping a group of orders "ahead" in line or only shipping 150 DK2's to a region, they're going to bump some orders ahead in line. It just makes sense.

Not much to get really. It's pretty self explanatory if you ask me.
Besides I see a few later us orders now as we'll so I guess they are pretty much on track.

^----- :!: :!: :idea: SO, according to the latest shipment posts, including update on us shipping up to the 26th so far before weeks end, I believe that my estimation is pretty close to accurate 🙂 yay. (of course there will be some outliers that might get skipped but who will get theirs next batch to their region).
