Hey everyone,

By the end of this week, we'll have shipped over 16,000 DK2s worldwide.

To those still waiting for your kits to arrive, thank you for your continued patience. We’re doing what we can to get your DK2 to you as quickly as possible.

To those who have already received their kits, we hope you’re enjoying experimenting, building, and creating new VR experiences. A special thank you for everyone’s help testing the latest SDK. We know it’s still rough around the edges, and we’re squashing bugs as quickly as we can. Watch for an update to the SDK in the near future.

This is for any orders made now... if you check the oculus order page they have been updating it from time to time to show when any new orders would be shipped.

It is also not a guarantee, but an expectation, if when you ordered yours said August and it doesn't come in August... expect it in September.

I believe these guys are a bit too busy to worry about customers complaining they have not got there device yet, unless there is a legitimate reason you didn't receive it. check out the DK2 Tracker on Reddit, http://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/2a5aj8/filled_out_dk2_tracker_heres_how_to_update_your/

this is hosted by reddit and only updated if users add there orders, nothing to do with Oculus Company at all.

Gives you a good idea of who has received there DK2 and who hasn't to give you a good idea of when your up.

It seems they are about to start shipping late March/Early April orders.

If orders from august seem to be shipping in October, I imagine orders from June-July will be shipping in October as well. if not September.

People need to calm down 🙂 It's coming!

Just as a note, I ordered on April 3rd, the Oculus page said "New orders are expected to begin shipping in July 2014."

I hope for a late August arrival, but am expecting an early September.. we will see, either way I can(t) wait 🙂

I've a May 1st order, initially estimated for August delivery.
How far behind are the orders now?

Okay I had to erase the other quotes (it wouldn't let me include all the quotes and it was too damn long anyway) but I can update as fortunatly Oculus got back to me (on a Sunday no less!). This is the reply I got back from them. But I would like to say I have no idea what the deal with this "e-check" is. My PayPal account is setup with a credit card for security (but not for charges) and the payments come directly from my bank account. I also wan to note that I am the first person I have heard this happening to so PayPal should still be a viable way to purchase. I think I just ran into some sort of weird circumstance. ANyway this is what Oculus Support sent me:

Sorry for any confusion.

It looks like your order was placed with an echeck and it had not yet cleared.

I've requested an update from PayPal and it was approved.

I know for a fact that my account was debited the money back in March ans when I talked to PayPal the told me Oculus had received the money back in March also so I don't know want the problem could have been. Plus I use PayPal all the time and have never run into this issue. Anyway, problem solved... Well kinda. My order now shows Ready, but if it weren't for this issue I would be at Processing right now (if not shipped). I guess this has pushed me back to the next batch. Oh well I know it's coming at least. And as much as I was pissed about the issue in the first place I am very happy that my issue was resolved so quickly and over the week-end no less! Nice job Oculus Support. 🙂

You might be lucky, you might catch the last batch of august which will probably ship 27th/28th. We'll find out how much of april ships when orders go to processing end of next week.

Must be a problem with my order... saw that people were saying April orders had already shipped... my order from March 30th says this now:

"Date: Mar 30, 2014 08:16 PM PDT

Status:PROCESSING:Your order has been checked out for shipping and will be shipped in the next batch. We'll send you a notification once it's shipped.
Note: If you have multiple items in the order, it might also indicate that the remaining items are still waiting to be shipped."

Where are you located? I noticed some April orders being shipped, but those are mostly EU. I'm in the same boat as you and i'm an April order as well.

I'm in Kentucky (USA), but I have a March 30th order. Beginning of April orders have already shipped from what other developers have stated on here. Were those only EU orders?

EU and AU orders have shipped. The latest batch of US orders are still in "Processing". I am guessing they will ship early this week. 😄
