Old games you'd like to see reimagined on Rift?

This is more of a hypothetical question, and why I would post it here. If you've been playing video games for about 30 years, or more, like me, then the question of which games from the past would you like to experience on the Rift could definitely come up, and might have before I started checking out these forums.

For me, I'd love to play some of the old Sierra games, in virtual reality. Hero's Quest, aka Quest For Glory 1 stands out as my number 1, although Wing Commander II, for obvious reasons would have to be a close second? How about you guys? No ground rules here, but I'm starting this thread with older games in mind.

I agree bioshock would look amazing
How about manhunt 2 ?
Or
Phantasmagoria: A Puzzle of Flesh
It was an amazing game for it's time. Much like the Tex Murphy games with interactive video clips just a lot darker. It was banned or censored in quit a few countries. It would require a full remake to play well in the rift.

The VR Zelda demo was pretty decent, I think there are a lot of top-down games that could benefit from VR remakes. Of course no one is going to care if the remake is of a little-known game, or something as infamous as Deadly Towers. I was wondering about Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior games, but I'd be too impatient for turn-based VR. Perhaps Star Tropics, Crystalis, or BomberMan.
I'm iffy on whether sidescrollers would be satisfying. There's nowhere to go left or right, I'd probably hurt my neck (or yank the cord) looking around to see which directions enemies are attacking me from - but It would still be fun to try them from a new perspective if the opportunity came up. Custer's Revenge might work.

With squares new interest in getting back into PC games, might see some final fantasy games 😄

I really want to see RTS games reinvented with VR in mind...

Games like Dune 2 or Command and Conquer... Starcraft... playing like the units were in a table and you can look from the distance or get close enough to see a soldier in detail... just like a giant observing...

I can see it now... somebody needs to draw a comic about this...

Peppy: "Do a barrel roll!"
Fox: (wiping vomit from face) "No! Not again!"
