PC VR users Return Your Quest 3 while you still can!

Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT allow your return window to expire if you intend on using the Quest 3 for PC. When I first purchased the Quest 3 I was pleasantly surprised at how well quest link worked. Then the updates came. 

Now the Quest 3 air link is completely broken. Every time I try to open the desktop oculus app I just get the 3 little white dots spamming and it never connects. Unfortunately, after researching I found out that this is nothing new. Quest 2 users have experienced the same issue frequently in the past. This happened after a Meta patch dropped back around mid November.

Meta support is laughable. Those guys don't know their ass from a hole in the ground and will just send you off on an endless wild goose chase of pointless troubleshooting, most of which isn't even related to the issue. 

I know it's a Meta issue because I can still connect with WIFI using the Steam Link app to play Halflife Alyx. Keep that in mind for those of you having the same issue and in need of a work around. But we shouldn't have to use a workaround! 

Even the Oculus desktop app is totally screwed up. During my troubleshooting, I tried reinstalling it which in turn uninstalled my games. It literally takes 10+ hours to download a 5gb game to my library from the oculus desktop app. Yet, I can download a 50gb game in less than an hour on Steam. Meta is a complete joke. Never have I regretted a purchase so badly.

The sad fact of the matter here is that Meta could care less about PC VR support because they want you to spend all of your money in their app store. Which is fine if that's all you want but if you are a PC user, this is clearly not the right headset for you. So do yourself a favor and return this POS while you still can. I wish I could.

I'm not the only one having these issues after the updates from Meta. As I stated in my comment, (guess you can't read) Steam link works so it's obviously a Meta issue. So beat it, Fanboy Nerd.

The first 5 rules of good forum posting are:

1. Not ask anyone if they've had the problem you have and if they've solved it.
2. Not state your PC specs or anything that might help trace any commonalities with anyone else with the issue.
3. Not be polite as that never elicits helpful replies.
4. No-matter how prevalent or how uncommon a problem is, say that lots of people are having it.
5. Sit back and wait for the inevitable, less than helpful responses with heated and cleverly thought out ready-made retorts.
