PSA: Be Careful If You Buy A Radeon RX 480

There have been multiple reports of the RX 480 drawing more power from the PCI express slot than the spec allows. If you have a low quality mobo that can't handle the power you could fry it. Hopefully this is something AMD can fix via a driver update.

Dont thrust reddit on anything http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Graphics-Cards/Power-Consumption-Concerns-Radeon-RX-480/Overclocking-Current-Testing in depth report.

Well I would think that a MoBo that is designed to take 4 PCI-e 3.0 16x will not be affected but if it designed to take just 1 then there might be an issue with OCing these.

The reddit link I posted includes that source and more. I thought it was a pretty good reddit post with plenty of sources backing up their claim.

Hopefully I'm not labeled an AMD hater after this post. I have a Fury X that I love and have had plenty of AMD stuff in the past. I also tried to make the title not sound like click bait.
