Lol, six pages of discussion about something we already knew when the Rift was unveiled in June.

Good review on Touch and room scale : http://www.gizmag.com/oculus-rift-revie ... gdc/42311/
Here's an interesting tidbit :
"Oculus is guiding developers to set up their tracking for 180 degrees, not 360 degrees like the Vive, so you'll find Oculus Touch games tend to nudge you to face in one direction more so than Vive games. The Rift is capable of 360-degree tracking, but that would (eventually) require long cables stretching from the PC to opposite corners of the room. So 180 it is."

I would think that same problem exists even when using the Vive if your room is big enough. Hell, I would argue the same issue exist when using surround sound for your tv, gameconsole etc as well. I'm thinking that in a smaller room, the rift can easily do 360 if placed correctly with the 2 camera's it provided with Touch.
I'll have to agree with the review though, it is really a tough choice to choose between the Rift and the Vive. I currently have the Rift on pre-order, mainly because I feel the Touch controllers are better then the Vive's wands, but the Vive seems to have the better roomscale sensors. Bundle all that with Oculus silence, i'm increasingly wondering if I made the right decision.
