Parallax of your eyes in DK2 Tracking Camera lens.

Just a fun little thing that's been catching my attention a bit more as of late. I don't know about your set ups, but I keep my Oculus DK2 camera mounted on top of my monitor at around eye level. When it's in use in the dark, the mirror like quality of the center lens mirrors back my eyes. If I'm focusing behind the camera, I can see both eyes, but if I focus on the lens proper, they converge into one eye. I always thought it was a bit neat as it reminded me a bit of the Oculus Logo (prior to the change to this capsule looking thing). Am I just crazy or has anyone else been amused by this little "feature" 😄 ?

*For those that don't know, human 3d vision is based on the parallax between our eyes and our brain processing the difference between the two to judge depth. For a similar experiment, just hold you thumb up to your face and focus at infinity. You'll see two thumbs. Focus on the thumb and you get one thumb and a nice cross eyed look to ya

Same, I can spend a few dozen seconds "palying" with my eyes reflection on the IR filter of the tracking camera...
