So I can buy the Rift with Paypal but definitely need to pay with a credit card for games on Home -.- Is there any plan to add Paypal in the near future ?
While the request is valid I could see why they would not want to add it. As I sell virtual goods for a living I have to say that custommer wins all the time, I had over a hundred disputes through out the whole time I run my things and I won 2 total, and even those seemed like a miracle. And you can say that it just applies to me and whatnot, but do some research and you'll see that even the big guys like steam and blizzard end up losing the disputes on paypal so I would not be shocked if paypal does not get added anytime soon
However I do use it for my personal needs a lot too and all-in-all I'd still be really glad to see it added
They'd better adopt PayPal soon unless they want Oculus Home to become just another UPlay. Some of these decisions are just baffling. The C drive restriction was pretty bad, but this PayPal business is almost worst, considering that Facebook owns Oculus and I can't imagine PayPal & Facebook don't play friendly.
I also support the PayPal option. In the US credit cards might be the main way to pay for things online. In Europe that's a whole different story. Paypal is often used here aswell as instant online banking. For example iDeal in the Netherlands, Mr Cash in Belgium and Giropay in Germany all let you pay instantly directly from your bank account (large company's sometimes provide these local payment options. For example I know Steam and Blizzard both supports iDeal).
