Performance Expectations

Hey Guys (and girls),

I'm thinking about picking one of these up here in the next few months (IF) when they become available.  My current rig is a follows:

Gigabyte x99 g1 Gaming Mobo
Intel 5960x processor
Gigabyte 980 g1 Gaming
16gb Crucial DDR4
Intel 730 SSD

What type of experience and performance should I expect with this? 

I appreciate the help and advice.

I gota 5820k and g1 gaming as well,  and all the official VR release games are child splay. This means you can afford to use high resolution scaling/ multi sampling  to get improved visuals without sacrificing framerate!

I wouldn't bother with that video card, go straight for a GTX 1080

Yea, I'm not buying a new one anytime soon...   an interesting expect a good experience with what I have?

Yeah, should be fine.  Should be about 15-20% better than the recommended minimum specs.
