Pimax Crystal Light vs Quest 3

I realise many people don't think these two headsets are comparable due to the price difference, however, in Australia the 512gb Quest 3 costs AUD$1,050 while the non-local dimming Crystal Light (with controllers) is AUD$1,084... that's only a $34 difference!!

Now, the non-local dimming Crystal Light isn't even available for pre-order at the moment - but assuming the price on their website is accurate to when it goes on sale, it's makes the Crystal Light a direct competitor to the Quest 3 in the PCVR space.

It's also worth noting that many would say the Quest 3 requires additional accessories to get the most out of it, which can potentially bump the price up hundreds of dollars.

I have a Quest 2 and predominantly play PCVR games like SkyrimVR and UEVR injected games like Insurgency Sandstorm. I've been wanting to upgrade to something for awhile (mostly due to FOV tbh) and have been tempted by the Quest 3. I'm not terribly interested in Mixed Reality and usually play wired (though I like to have some freedom of movement and typically play standing) so the Crystal Light has become a serious consideration for me.

So, what do you guys think? If you could get the Crystal Light and Q3 at a similar price, which one would you choose?

Edit: The third contender that I've been considering is the PSVR2 with the PC adapter. Would love your opinions on how that stacks up to the other two as well!
