Please try my Updated Demo - Need feedback

Ok, so here is a totally redesigned demo of vr boat. After hearing the graphics were basic, I threw away the original project and started from scratch (yup it sucks, but if it was garbage, that's what you do with it). I still need to enable damage and life meters, as well as objectives (like collecting coins), but as of right now there is a few things to see and do. there are several scripted events, etc..

Controls are only keyboard with a,w,s,d for movement (bare in mind that boat wont turn unless its moving forward or back, so keep w or s pressed and just tap a and d accordingly to turn). Also, you can shoot with mouse button (but only the barrels at the beginning (and a projectile later on) are destructible.

Anyways, all suggestions are welcomed since I am new to this. Feedback is greatly needed, since I am supposed to talk to some college students in 2 weeks (I am still wondering why they ask me to do that, but that's another story). Anyways, please help me out and provide me with any feedback (positive, negative, abusive, whatever).

Thanks

Here is a video and a download link to the demo.

I thought this was an improvement over the first version.

How about turning it into a fishing game ?

And depending on what controllers end up showing up with the CV1, which will hopefully include hand tracking, you can add actual rowing and throwing a fishing line movements later on.

With the game ending when your fishing time is up and the night falls on you, or ending early when a shark or octopus pulls you overboard and underwater after you broke your last fishing line.

If you do add hand tracking : Remember to add a warning about you taking no responsibility for any resulting damage (starting with the black eyes at the back, and the broken TV at the front) 🙂

🙂
You might be amazed that I would live for the boat to be an inner tube, and to control using hydra( paddle motions). Lol
