Hi All,
Ordered PolyWatch to remove some small scratches to the right lens on my Meta Auest 3 and followed instructions as per some Reddit users/YouTube videos. Unfortunately my lens has ended up a lot worse 😕
Have an image but not sure how to upload here.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I've heard of some people claiming they fixed minor scratches on their Quest 2 using polywatch. I've never heard anyone claiming that about their Quest 3, sadly. The pancake lenses are made of different stuff and don't take well to polishing.

I've ben reading, and researching PolyWatch for approximately 5 months for my Quest 3.
I scratched up the lenses prity bad from just cleaning with carben fiber cloth. My display started getting foggy and seamed out of focus. It made no sense to me becouse i wipe down lenses, always before useing my headset.
I never saw any scratches intell one day the light hit the lenses just right while wipeing them down to reveal so many overlaping scratches.
We all know you can't get a strate answer. Half the people use polywatch with good results on the quest 3, while the other half clames it made it much worse.
Let Me tell you, it 100% will bring the quest 3 back to life.
You Must use The " polyWatch time to shine GLASS POLISH All-Inclusive-Set " on your Meta Quest 3.
Two Things, First, if it didn't work for you, you're not applying enough pressure and/or not polishing long enough.
Use the repair polish first. Use the wood tool with the pink cloth. Applying good, stroung pressure for at least 3 - 4 minutes strate. Dont let the product dry. As soon as it starts to dry, stop polishing and eminently grab a fine carben fiber cloth ( not included with the all-inclusive-set ) and buff clean.
Do the same thing with the Finish polish and white little cloth on wood tool.
Second, don't panic if it leaves a kind of ring people talk about.
When you put the headset on, you can't see it.
Amazing, No Hazy Fog, nice and Focused.
Worked so grate on my quest 3. I'm Telling You !!!
Im sure if you really worked on it, you could prob get rid of cind of ring.
I'm So,So Happy with results.
The people that clame it dosent work on the QUEST 3, with PANCAKE LENSES, aren't doing it right, or using the wrong stuff.

Oops, I ment " Microfiber " cloth.
Not Carbon fiber.
