Project Car Couldn't load.

Installed project car using the Oculus home with DK2. Every time I try to start the game it stuck on the screen says please waiting...

I have the consumer oculus rift and I'm having the same issue with project cars! Stuck at please wait screen! I thought I was alone in this... Has anyone figured this out yet??

Still couldn't make it work, checked task manager when I stuck at please wait screen and saw the project cars as background processes, but no CPU and memory usage .. really confused.

I've read somewhere that you have to have your Windows firewall setting on for games. Don't ask me why but that's what I've read. Apparently, some games don't work if you switched the window firewall settings off.

@BigMike - Step by step how exactly did you install Project Cars?

This is extremely frustrating! I have had this thing for almost a week! And I still can't play project cars! The please waiting screen issue seems like it will never be fixed!

I figured it out! Project cars gets confused when selecting which graphics card to use and sometimes does not choose your powerful dedicate gpu. You have to disable your other apu so only your powerful graphics card you want it to use is enabled. Go to device manager > graphics or video  adapter and disable it. It starts right up in my oculus rift after I did that and I'm now having a blast playing it in VR! Enjoy!
