Purchased a gift card

purchased a gift card to giveaway on stream. i live in Canada and the winner is in America. cant accept the gift card, support wont change currency and its non refundable. i was torn between headsets but the decision is clear i will never purchase another oculus product. what terrible customer service

Hey there, I just wanted to chime in here really quickly regarding this. Currently the policy for gift cards does not allow transferring to a different currency/location or a refund. I know this can be a huge bummer when you're just trying to do something awesome for your community on stream, but I really hope this doesn't completely turn you away from Meta Quest!

One really great way to share any feedback/ideas you have for how to improve this (or anything else with Meta Quest) is by posting on the Ideas Board. That is the best place to get suggestions seen by the right people, and who knows, maybe in the future your suggestions could get implemented!

Still can't change currency? met the same problem, friend in UK can't redeem the gift card I bought for him. I don't understand why. The gift card policy just sux
