Quest 2 PCVR feeback.

For starters, I would give it 2/10.

This is due to the fact of it hardly ever working. When i go into quest link, immediately one of my first problems is quest link not loading. After restarting my headset and booting it back up, it loads. I open up an app (DCS for example), and the sound doesn't work. DCS's settings are connected to my headset. Windows is connected to my headset. Bu the sound wont play. The next issue i have is the unbearable graphics reduction. I believed that you needed a powerful PC to have quest link look better, so I got one. But this wasn't true. Without quest link, I can almost max out the graphics for any game. But with quest link, the graphics NEED to be on low for a smooth as possible experience. But even then, I turn my head and encounter a LOT of lag.  Overall, I am very disappointed with quest link as a whole

Bonus: hand tracking. I use hand tracking at times, (outside of quest link) and when i pick up my controllers and start using them, randomly it will switch on hand tracking. I did not give it any queue to do so. Even as i am currently pushing buttons on my controllers, it still overides that and enables it.

We see you are having some issues with your PCVR experience, lets try and get that sorted out.

Here are some things you can try to improve things.

  1. Reinstalling the Quest Link app and make sure it is updated fully.
  2. Check and update your GPU drivers
  3. Try reseating your cable, or try another USB 3 Port.
  4. Try another Cable.
  5. Try running PCVR with minimal USB devices active. (just keyboard and mouse)
