Fun stuff.
I found a workaround for the latter.
Remove RemoteHeadset.dll from Oculus main folder/Support/oculus-runtime/server-plugins, and the PC link app opened.
Putting that file back in that folder afterward also lets it work. Though, if I reinstall the app, I have to remove it again.
The former, however, a no-go.
Wires and PC specs don't appear to be the issue.
Because both work fine with my older laptop with AMD Radeon RX Vega 10 Graphics and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, which is a significantly lower spec than the PC that I'm having issues with both which has AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090.
Both drivers and Windows 11 are up-to-date.
Reinstalled the link app about 15 times (I don't like it flickering the screen every time and taking over my audio device, by the way).
I'd factory reset my headset. But does that matter when it works with the older laptop?
Found no other troubleshoot so far.
I'm not in a hurry to fix it. I've had good experience with the VR, but the link had so many issues over the years, made me decide I'd rather get a different brand of headset.
But I hope this feedback helps the devs stabilizing the app in a long run.
