I’m just about to buy a quest 3 and was wondering if my Astro A50 headset would work with it if I’m using it with my pc. Looked everywhere and couldn’t find an answer

Yep, works in Link and Virtual Desktop.

Make sure Desktop Sound is set to A50.OculusScreenshot1700707966.jpeg

Link: While in Link, go to Setting- Headset - Audio Setting- set to Windows Default.  I had to restart link to get it to stick.  Or in the Oculus PC app also. OculusScreenshot1700707618.jpeg

Virtual Desktop:  Open Streamer App before connecting. Options - Audio Streaming - Select one of the options that includes computer.OculusScreenshot1700705564.jpeg

Now is there a way to use it on regular quest apps without airlink?

I think you'd have to use a bluetooth adapter plugged into the aux input on the A50 base station, and then connect the Quest to that. Sounds like a lot of latency in the making.  A40 should be able to plug into the headset. But as far as I know, A50 has no bluetooth.  If you find a solution I'd love to know.
