A few more points we've learnt.

The facial interface appears to move forwards and backwards (4 steps) to obtain the eye relief feature, rather than the lenses physically sliding in and out.

The lenses look fantastic pictured below vs the Quest pro. There could be a slight coating difference between the 2 but that could just be the lighting

FOV seems to be less than pro but again, this would depend on what setting the facial interface is set to. Pinch of salt still on this particular spec

The optional controller charging dock is intriguing me.. the removable battery covers look to be roughly where the docking station supports would be in contact with the controllers, but there doesn't seem to be anything special in there to facilitate induction charging.

I'm not sure, but I think the optianal charging dock for controllers will come with another battery cover to make charging possible.

mmm yeah, that's one way of doing it. It's interesting and would need a pretty neat little cover. That pic of the controllers doesn't seem to show how a charging cover would connect to anything in the main body of the controller, which would be necessary if it charges regular AA rechargeables via the battery terminals. Or maybe it's a dedicated battery/cover combo, maybe lithium battery? Maybe the connections just aren't visible in that view... or the orientation in the dock isn't quite how it looks.

There was something similar for Quest 2 controller
