This is the link to the article.
it is obvious that Quest 2 and Pro will never be able to map the room )or rooms) automatically as Quest 3 will be able to do.
however I would like to know if there is any hope that Meta will allow me to concretely map and see all my furniture in the home.
For me it is not important if the mapping is done manually, (I am aware that without the depth sensor it is the only way), but I would like to have the furniture visible again, which could be done before, even if partially.
Since v53 I'm already worried that Meta has already removed the sofas and desks visible in the home and I don't want that to happen like the Oculus PC Home which has been totally removed and it is not known whether it will return or not.
I would be very grateful if anyone who is in contact with the Mixed Reality Development Team could read up on Meta projects on the subject and share something here.

Meta Quest 2 256GB, GC Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, Intel 12th Gen Intel i5-12400F, 16Gb RAM, Windows 11 home 22H2. Connected with dedicated router via ethernet cat 6 with pc and to Quest 2 on wifi 5 ch 36

Wow! Looks awesome! Can't wait to hear more about the Quest 3!

We are all mad here.

This is so exciting.  Wasn't there a game shown that will map all your furniture and use it in-game (change it to things that you can hide behind etc)?

Big PC, all the headsets, now using Quest 3
