I was wondering if there are performance differences between the 128GB and 512GB Version.
If, for example, the 512GB version is UFS 4.0 instead of 3.1, the price increace might actually be worth it.
Can anyone from Meta give a statement?

Yes and no, The UFS 4.0 standard consumes 46% less power than UFS 3.1, while offering 2x performance. That means you will have much faster storage on your device.
But will you be able to perceive that, and has quest actually unlocked it.
So in theory there is a benefit, but I can't validate because I don't have a 128 version. Keep in mind I can't validate by downloading, it may have a game impact.

Instead, the 128GB storage would be the older UFS 3.1 chip. As per the tipster, the reason is that Samsung does not make a 128GB UFS 4.0 chip. Thus, slower storage for those who buy the 128GB model of the Galaxy S23. The new UFS 4.0 storage offers write speeds of up to 4200 MB/s and write speeds of up to 2800 MB/s.Feb 1, 2023
High probability it's different.

You're right, I just checked and looks like there are differences. Do you think it would matter in the case of the Meta Quest 3?
