I purchased the quest 3 500g headset ( my very first vr headset) and at first I absolutely loved it. Then I started to notice that the lenses were getting a bit blurry. So, I cleaned them using the exact method provided in the directions and it did not get any better. I finally looked at the lenses under light and saw a bunch of tiny scratches. After some research I found this to be a known issue due to the soft cheap plastic meta uses to make the lenses. I then reached out to meta customer service and they offered an advanced return and would ship a replacement headset in 3-5 days. . I was initially very satisfied Then 2 weeks go by and nothing! So I reach out again and I am told I must wait!! So I keep reaching out daily until finally I am told that there return department has some sort of problems and they cannot process returns. They are now telling me advanced return is not an option and they will not be able to ship out a headset. I have only had this for 5 months and meta is refusing to honor the warranty after I spent over 1,000 on the headset and accessories!!!!!! They should be ashamed !! This must be illegal. If you’ve had a similar experience please share. We must let the world know how this tech giant is taking advantage of the average person.
