So when v71 was revealed, I hated the new UI, well the colors and gradient of it that is. So like any insane person, I completely turned off auto updates because of something I'd get over in a week. Fast forward to now, and when exiting sleep mode I noticed that Horizon feed was reopened, which happens when rebooting, and the UI icons were a little different. Welp. Checked settings which had a completely different menu, and I was on v71. Not v72 which was available, but still. (The colors haven't taken affect yet but unless that's a setting, I feel they will unfortunately.)
Now there's another reason why I stayed on v69. I play a lot of unknown sources, emulators specifically. My Quest 3 is a great emulation device. But updates sometimes break functionality. So when that's what I mainly play, I don't want to suddenly not be able to. So far I haven't seen people say the update broke things, but still, I feel this is something I should have full control over, not forced onto me. Does anyone else agree?
