Question about playing steam vr games on meta quest 2

I don‘t know so much about computers but I recently got a PC from a friend and I would really like to play no mans sky and microsoft flight simulator in VR. However, even though a gaming pc, I couldn‘t even play no mans sky (using a meta quest 2). Simple vr games work though.

The pc (HP Omen Obelisk)has the following hardware:

Intel Core i7-9700F, 16 GB, 1000 GB, SSD , RTX 2070 Super.

My friend said that maybe adding 16gb RAM would solve the issue, because whilst testing it reach it‘s limit.

Does anyone know if this may solve the problem or would it need something else like new GPU?

You should be ok with that PC.  What’s actually happening?  Low framerate?  
Are you using cable or air link?

The PC should be OK. Not the best but it should be able to play those games. Both No Mans Sky and MSFS don't automatically load in VR though - it has to be enabled in-game. If you did that, what errors or issues did you experience?
