Question regarding regional orders...

So I noticed a trend on those who are getting their orders processed even when they state they were originally given later estimates or they placed their orders 45+minutes out... they all seem to be outside of the US.  Is there anyone who is not a kickstarter backer that has received their orders and lives in the United States?  So far it sounds like most of these orders are being shipped to parts of Europe, UK, and Australia.

Thanks.

If you go to reddit it multiple people with an estimate that ends on the 28th reported that they never got shipping or processing.  Oculus didn't process anything new this week in NA everything sent this week was processed last week.

So the estimates for NA are not accurate and your going to get delayed down the road.

So its great for Europe and anyone else getting rifts . It sucks for those of us in NA. To add more salt to the wounds we all got free shipping but Europe got a larger discount since shipping was so expensive and they are getting their orders before us.

That is why I went vive and will no longer do business with oculus going foward

So what your saying is..... they distributed available units in this order.  Kickstarters > Europe > PC Bundles...... somehow all north american pre-orders need to wait... yea I can definitely see how Facebook/Oculus will lose a major customer base especially in their country of origin.

That is not the processing order smittah. In another post cyber has explained that the orders are processed globally/per country in batches of 2000 (take that number with a grain of salt, as I can't confirm it) and having many orders coming from the NA region makes the backlog in that part of the world just bigger. Hence the delay. 2000 in Europe might well be 20% of the people, while its maybe 2% in NA.

There are even KS people in Europe still waiting for their Rift, so hold tight.

Ordered 20min in. -Waiting for April

You mean its Europe - Australia due to the customs issues is getting sweet FA at the moment, really hope they manage to get it sorted.

Also Cyber never confirmed 2000 batches, that was someone else used the number and even said it was "pulled out of his ass" Cyber simply commented that the theoretical process was correct, what ever the batch sizes are.

That fairly sums it up.

This week Europe has had multiple days of processing.  So far this week only this morning did a small amount of processing happened  for NA.

Its obvious some of the rifts meant for NA were used instead for bundles , otherwise we would have seen multiple days of processing for NA instead of the single day.

so essentially those who are in the US/NA that did a day 1 pre-order were burned by those who bought the bundles instead.... yeaaa... that's really messed up.
