Receiver name residential? Shipment delayed!

IsoMacintosh
Explorer
Why does ups say that the receiver is residential instead of my name?
Now they are saying this:
The company or receiver name is incorrect. This will delay delivery. We're attempting to update this information.

Don't be cruel to animals. If you have the need to punch something in the throat, go find a random human stranger and punch them in the throat. Better yet, when the UPS guy delivers the package, you should punch him in the throat.

I do not condone violence towards animals.

Yeah i agree with saviornt, leave the kittens aloooone. (britney style)

Sorry for resurrecting the topic, just wanted to say not only the author had problems with shipment.

OVR support ignored me, so i'll call UPS, if UPS will ignore me too, i'll just put "RESIDENTIAL" on the doorbell and cross my fingers.

I don't think Oculus is sending the packages with 'Residential" instead of the name. If that were happening we would have heard of tons of reports, and we have not. I assume it's just an issue of the UPS website not showing the full name/address (maybe for security reasons). Many times it will only show city/state and not the full address. This may be whats happening.

In any case, if there was a mistake on the address, then UPS would create an exception report. We would get those reports, and someone from Oculus support can work with you to get the address fixed.

Hope that makes sense.

I didn't said that oculus sends all the packages with residential, but probably in some cases, the system, or the communication between the oculus and UPS systems doesn't work as it should. Like what happened with IsoMacintosh and me.

And i wasn't speaking of the USP website, i was speaking of the email UPS sent me with the receiver and the full address, with "residential" instead of my name, as happened to IsoMacintosh too.

The address is fine, the receiver is wrong.

Anyway you can close the topic, it got pretty derailed.

Editing to avoiding resurrecting the post (maybe).

Just received the DK2, and my name was on the packet (i was wrong), sorry for losing my sh*t, but after 400$ i tend to be paranoid.
