Regarding accounts on a Meta Quest 2

As a suggestion, it should be possible to change the status of which account on a meta quest 2 as the admin, or have multiple account have that title (as Windows does for instance.)  Not having that option is frustrating.

Unfortunately the ops issue is that you only have the one Admin account, although yes, you can add other accounts so that the headset can be shared, changing the admin requires a factory reset.

I think Meta just want someone to take responsibility for how the headset is used as they're increasingly being used by younger people. I guess this could be done by multiple admins but it's probably not as necessary as in a Windows environment, in a typical office for example, where you may have different admins available on different shifts, hot-desking etc, only having one admin could affect productivity.

There are some unnecessary limitations on non-admin accounts though, last time I checked, streaming to other devices wasn't possible on a non-admin account, not sure how many other things are limited.

It's possible to have more than one account on the Quest.🙂

You completely missed the issue in my post.  Thanks for playing.  (THE ISSUE IS ADMIN ACCOUNT... PLURAL.)

You nailed it as far some of the limitations for a non-admin account.  So, in a household with two adults that are equals, but have different, but overlapping, app interests.  It would be nice to just have both accounts to have the same abilities and what not.

Regardless, I appreciate you consideration in your reply.
