I'm hearing that the default 3 curved screen option (from the quick launcher) has been taken out of V.69. If that's true then put them back please... (Before, I'm forced to update to V.69). It's crazy to remove such a basic function/feature
that many like and are quite used to.
The Quest Curved 3 Screen implementation, from the quick launcher, is absolutely fantastic as is ! Adding other options is GREAT TOO but you don't remove one of the most prominent features many of us have grown quite accustomed to.
It's both practical and looks great.
The geometry distortion you get from flat screens at angles, off to the side is nothing short of annoying. Curved screens when you are EXACTLY centered are superior. Given that you can instantly have 3 screens all centered at the same time around you is an absolutely positively fantastic
I can understand that you would like to maintain a device setting that you have become accustomed to/grown to enjoy however, may I suggest directing any suggestions for updates or changes to our Ideas Forum as that is the best place for your thoughts and feelings to be heard.
It's not a device setting its a MAJOR FUNCTION of the device ! One that absolutely positively affects not only the look and feel but also its functionality.
I just got V69 and I also don't like that they removed the large curved screen, with passthrough mode. I use it to watch Pluto TV while in passthrough mode to still see things in my house. Now to get the large curved screen it ends up darkening the passthrough so you can only see the screen.
How does Meta already not know people liked the larger curved screen option and replacing it with a version where you can only use it where everything else is darkened out is stupid.
