Oculus recently changed home to throw up a big modal error message when it can't connect to the Internet complete with an "OK" button you can't press without an Oculus controller.
When this happens even for software started outside of home the look at health and safety warning isn't functional because the modal connection error message has to be dismissed first... yet you can't do that unless you have an xbox controller or Oculus remote handy which is sometimes really really inconvenient. Rarely use these things and they are stored in a different location.
I hope along with giving users the opportunity to dismiss compatibility messages that annoy them Oculus would also do something about this problem.
