Hi

I'm a french student. I'm doing some research for school on Virtual Reality and impacts on human body and I would like to know if Oculus did some tests, researches on it.
It would be very very nice if someone of Oculus could help me with my researches 🙂

Thanks! 😉

Look at youtube for the interviews/panels/keynotes etc.
Or at Oculus page for links.
Or even try google.

I doubt any Oculus employee will spend any time to help you, but I remember them talking about it a few times. You should find something useful there. Also, look at all what Carmack posted on the net. I think he mentioned some book written in the 90's. It could be most helpful for you. 🙂
Not an Oculus hater, but not a fan anymore. Still lots of respect for the team-Carmack, Abrash. Oculus is driven by big corporation principles now. That brings painful effects already, more to come in the future. This is not the Oculus I once cheered for.

Nausea is the biggest negative impact of VR. There are studies all over the internet for causes and fixes.
I recommend you begin at the Wikipedia listing for "virtual reality sickness" and follow some of the reference links posted there.
Not a Rift fanboi. Not a Vive fanboi. I'm a VR fanboi. Get it straight.

Nausea happens because your brain thinks you are poisoned and wants to make you vomit to get rid of it.
